A record can parse and still fail the hand-off
- A record that parses can still fail the system receiving it.
- Check identifiers, profiles, terminology and destination behavior.
- Give every failed record an owner and a route back.

A missing identifier is a small field with a large consequence. Start with the receiving contract and make the failure visible.
Parsing is not the same as working
JSON parsing confirms syntax. A working exchange also needs the agreed identifiers, resource shape, profiles, terminology, authorization and destination behavior. A record can pass the first check and still fail every one that matters to the system receiving it.
Give every failure an owner
When a record is incomplete, the worst outcome is silence. Give incomplete records an owner, an explanation and a route back through review, so the problem is fixed at the source instead of rediscovered downstream.
